ASTIK cc+ is conductive carbon coated modacrylic fiber with low electrical resistance. Modacrylic is a synthetic co-polymer fiber in which the fiber-forming substance is any long-chain synthetic polymer composed of less than 85%, but at least 35% weight acrylonitrile units except when the polymer qualifies as rubber. Modacrylic is a synthetic copolymer fabric similar to acrylic but it is flame retardant. The fibers are difficult to ignite and will self-extinguis.

Polymod cc+ (Processed modacrylic) is a coated synthetic copolymer defined fibers in which the fiber-forming substance is any long-chain synthetic polymer composed of less than 85%, but at least 35% weight acrylonitrile units except when the polymer qualifies as rubber. This coated POLYMOD fiber is a synthetic copolymer fabric similar to acrylic but it is flame retardant and have high tensile strength and surface area. The fibers are difficult to ignite, will self-extinguish and have low electrical resistivity per unit length.
