Polymod modacrylic is a coated synthetic copolymer defined fibers in which the fiber-forming substance is any long-chain synthetic polymer composed of less than 85%, but at least 35% weight acrylonitrile units except when the polymer qualifies as rubber.
Application Area
POLYMOD fiber is a synthetic copolymer fabric similar to acrylic but it is flameretardant and have high tensile strength and surface area. The fibers are difficult to ignite and will self-extinguish.Often used in the manufacturing of Sealing compounds , ,Intrumescent coating, flooring, fibres for coating.
